Hello! My latest White Rose Crafts project is a fun mixed media card to share today that has a magical Autumn/Halloween vibe to it. I am so in love with many of AALL & Create‘s stamps and stencils…if you’ve visited me before, you have probably seen me use several of their products. Today I broke out a few things, so let’s take a look at my card.
My focal point are those pumpkins, which are from the Basic Veggies stamp set. So many amazing and large images are in that set. I colored them with Copics and colored pencils. In the background, I stenciled the Lotza Starz with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. On top of that, I inked a small portion of the Reverse Crescents with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder. I added a bit to one of the corners as well.
I added some Distress Oxide Ink in Ground Espresso and Peeled Paint by flicking and rubbing directly from the pad. For texture and shine, I added some small blobs of Orange Soda Nuvo Glitter Drops.
There’s a lot to look at on this card, but I don’t think it’s too busy. I actually could probably get away with adding some additional details to the pumpkins, but I don’t know if that’s necessary. I really enjoy mixing elements and media together like this. It’s a fun card, and I would like to continue to make more in this style.
