Hello! It’s Day 3 of the July release for Stamp Anniething. Today I have a big 5″ x 7″ card to share that uses several of the new release items. We are focusing on the “Roman” stamp and coordinating dies, but I also wanted to add Cassia (I shared a card with her on Thursday), as well as the Colosseum Builder.

How cool is that Colosseum Builder? I had a really good time figuring out how I wanted to color it and enhance it a bit. So I used “Evening Gray” and Moon Rock” Crisp Dye Inks from Altenew and applied it to my craft mat and then used water and a brush to add details. I also took some of the bricks that are at the top and bottom of the columns and added them under the roof line. The dome was inked up with Golden Glitz Delicata Ink.
I once again broke out my Copics to color the people. The “Roman” stamp and his spear were colored with E50, E53, E33, E04, E25, E29, E47, E49, YG67, G29. I also added some metallic areas with some Spectrum Noir Markers from the “Metals” collection.
At first, I wasn’t sure how I wanted to color Cassia, besides wanting her to look very different from the version I shared on Thursday. Truth be told, Thor: Ragnarok was on recently, and I love the deep greens that Hela wears. I also love her black hair against her pale skin. So, I used those colors for Cassia and added her basket of flowers too. I used Copic colors: E50, E51, E11, E04, R32, G28, G24, YG11, N9, N6, T2. The coordinating dies make it so easy to cut all of these images out.
I made a simple background with an old stencil from my stash and a few Distress Ink colors. The scene came together quickly, and didn’t need anything additional since the characters and the Colosseum were so visually interesting already. I hope you have enjoyed the July release from Stamp Anniething. I have loved sharing all of these projects with you. I’d like to thank Stamp Anniething for having me as a Guest this month. It is truly an honor! I’ll have more projects using these new items very soon! Thanks so much or stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
