Hey there! Thanks for visiting today. On Wednesday, I did a FB Live for Sassy & Crafty with a technique I came up with for silhouette stencils. Truth be told, you can do this for most stencils, but it works really well with stencils that are creating a scene. I decided to call it, Stencil Ink Smooshing.

The first card I made used the In the Woods stencil. I’m not going to go into the technique too much, as I will share the FB Live link instead, but I will also be making a more compressed YouTube video sharing it too. Eventually. Hopefully soon.
I added a sentiment after the Live from the Wild and Free stamp set. I left my card base white.
My second card used the Fairy Grotto stencil set, and thanks to my daughter Rhiannon helping out during the Live, and the suggestions from some viewers like Marie from Marie’s Vermont Creations, we came up with an amazing card.
Seriously, aren’t those colors incredible together? We even added some Sheer Shimmer Spritz to the sky, and I used a Sheer Shimmer Stix to the card base.
You can really see that sparkle here! My sentiment is from the Magic Within stamp set.
Intrigued? Please check out the FB Live. It is a very doable technique that can give awesome results. I did make one other card that evening, using the Jurassic Stencil, but I haven’t had a chance to finish that one. I’ll share it once I complete it. I’ll have my next FB Live for Sassy & Crafty on July 17th at 11AM EST….right before the new Distress Ink color reveal. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
