Hello! It’s Day 2 of Stamp Anniething‘s latest release, and I am so happy to be a Guest Designer with them this month. Today, we are debuting Brendan- Ovid-ous. There’s a stamp and coordinating die set. I used the new Basket Weave stencil on my card again too.

I colored Brendan with Copics on my Stampendous Mixed Media White Paper. I used E50, E51, and E11 for his skin, E31, E41, and E57 for his hair, and then E18, E08, B32, B45, and B39 for almost everything else. I used metallic markers for his accessories, just like i did on Cassia yesterday.
The sentiment I used comes with Brendan, and I used a die I had in my stash to cut it out. I inked the edges with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink. He also comes with a scroll that he can hold, I just opted to not use it here. For my background, I used one of my favorite embossing pastes ever, which is Nuvo’s Glacier Paste in Golden Era. It goes on so smoothly, and dries to look like it’s actual gold leaf. It’s stunning and looks amazing with the Basket Weave stencil. I purposely didn’t apply the paste everywhere, as I wanted it to look aged and if it’s flaking off. I put it on Kraft cardstock, which adds to the warm glow of the paste.
I really love how this card turned out. That background is very me, and I think Brendan looks so handsome in his toga. I’ll have another card with the last of the new release tomorrow. It’s a very cool card, so I hope you’ll come back to check it out. And please be sure to visit Stamp Anniething to see all of their products. They have so much to offer! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
