THRD July Release Day 2

Greetings! It’s Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs’ July Release! Today, the Design Team is sharing projects using the new Pawlidays Stamp set, and it is so cute! And, have you seen the new Blending Brushes that were just released? They look like fluffy white cottontails, and I used one to help me do some ink blending on my card today.

I colored this celebratory pups with Copics, and fussy cut them out with a bit of a white border, so that I didn’t have to worry about the antlers and tail becoming too delicate. To ground them, I used a scallop die cut made from Kraft cardstock, which I ink blended the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. The new Blending Brushes from TRHD take ink so much better than the other brushes I have used in the past, and I was really surprised about that! And I love that the bristles are white, so now I can have a brush for each color, and I don’t need to label them.

I chose a pretty background paper from Wild Rose Studios that I had in my stash and I glued it to my Kraft card base, which I also inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

Of course, I needed some sparkle on this card, so I added a bunch of sequins from the Broken Glass Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. If you look carefully, you’ll see a teeny star on top of the tree from that Blend.

These pups look adorable, albeit a little unhappy at their holiday garb. Nonetheless, they make a cute card, don’t they? Below is information on the giveaway, as well as the full hop list. I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 3 of the July release. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
