Hello! Today’s card uses the November Card Kit of the Month from Hero Arts. You may have seen THIS card already, which was also made with this kit. I think this is my favorite Hero Arts Card Kit of 2025, because I LOVE to read, and so does the rest of my family.

I used the book die set as my focal point, plus many of the colors of Spellbinders cardstock that is included in the kit. If you haven’t worked with this cardstock yet, you should! It’s so smooth, the colors are gorgeous and it die cuts and takes ink beautifully. I inked up the book spine stamp set from the kit with coordinating colors of ink, mostly Catherine Pooler.
My background was made with Spellbinders’ May 2025 Embossing Folder of the Month, called Abstract Study. I inked the inside front panel of the embossing folder with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and ran it through my die cut machine, then repeated the process to get a better coating of ink on the cardstock. Then I flicked on Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions Spray. I added Buttercream Ink to my card base.
I love these colors together, and the stack of books makes me happy. I do have another card using that die….but it looks completely different! I can’t wait to show it to you.
