Greetings! I have a fun Christmas Card to share today that uses the Mid Century Bauble Tree from A Colorful Life Designs. This tree is really funky and I was able to make this card in a jiffy.

I found a piece of patterned paper from Miss Kate (Christmas Basics) and stenciled the Mid Century Bauble Tree right on top of it with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. The dots of the patterned paper look like they’re ornaments on the tree, don’t they? I cut the paper with my Deckle Edge Trimmer from Tonic and inked them with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. For the star, I inked it with VersaMark Ink then used gold embossing powder on it.

I inked my card base with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide. I also added Satin Matte Gold Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs to the tree. My sentiment is from the Simon Hurley and Spellbinders Joyful Christmas Sentiments Press + Foil Plate and Die Set. I inked it with Spruce VersaFine Clair Ink and then aged it with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

This is vintage and cool, and really fun. Please visit A Colorful Life Designs to see all of the amazing stencils and Card Bling that this woman-owned business offers.
