Hello! I used the Birthdays Inside and Out Stamp and Cut from Hero Arts for today’s card. It’s from the new Say It with Style Collection. I think the sentiments in this stamp set are so funny, I was really excited to use them.

I had this turkey from the September 2026 All Clubs Crate from Spellbinders. He’s been sitting on my desk for a while, because I wasn’t sure how to use him. But I knew I really didn’t want it to be a Thanksgiving card. This sentiment was just perfect though, because this guy looks exhausted.

I found a great plaid paper in my stash that worked well with the turkey, and I used it to create a ground for him to lay on. Then, I used a thin strip of navy blue paper to make the transition between the plaid and the card base look better. I used Acorn VersaFine Clair Ink for both parts of the sentiment. It’s a warm reddish brown that I really like.

I like when things that I have pre-made finally find a “home” on a card. It happens a lot. I will make a background, or put together a die set, but then I’m not sure what to do with it. So it sits for a while on my desk and then finally one day, I realize it’s exactly what I need for a certain card. I’m glad this turkey finally has a place to live.
