Hello! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite cards of the month. It uses the Simple Leaves Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs in combination with some other fun products. I really love how this card turned out, and I hope you do too.

I laid the Simple Leaves Stencil onto cold press watercolor paper. Then I sprinkled on some Lindy’s Magicals from Lindy’s Gang in the Autumn Leaves Collection. I used one color per leaf. I spritzed them with water and moved the color around a bit. I removed the stencil, and let the leaves dry. I fussy cut them, and if I need to redefine the veins, I did it with a white gel pen.
I cut a panel out of brown cardstock using the Playful Stitched Panels from Spellbinders. Next, I used the Tree Rings Texture Fade from Tim Holtz and Sizzix. I inked the folder with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide, and then rubbed Antique Linen Distress Oxide onto the panel after embossing. I wanted more shine, so I used another size of the Playful Stitched Panels with Blushing Mermaid Mirror Cardstock from Tonic. On my card base, I attached a piece of patterned paper from Catherine Pooler’s Right at Home Paper Collection. My sentiment is from Hero Arts’ Autumn Greetings.
