Greetings! I have a fun Halloween card today that uses Sir Skeleton, who was created by Simon Hurley and is available exclusively on the Spellbinders website. He’s a very dapper fellow, and I really liked putting him together. I also used the August 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders, which you’ll see me use quite a bit this month.

I started by die cutting and assembling Sir Skeleton. He coordinates perfectly with the Halloween Hugs Collection, which you’ll see me use soon. He’s pretty easy to put together, and the assembly guide is available on the Spellbinders website. He needed shine, so I used metallic foiled copper cardstock for his monocle.

The background was embossed with white cardstock, and I used the spiderweb side of the 3D Embossing Folder. There’s actually two completely different designs on this month’s folder, which is really cool. I used Celestial Copper Delicata Ink on the raised webs to coordinate back to the monocle and to help the webs stand out. Then, I created the sentiment using purple and more foiled copper cardstock.

I like all of the white and copper on this card. Sir Skeleton is ready to party! Please visit Spellbinders to see all of their latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
