Hello! I have a fun shaker card that’s great for guys today. It uses the Mid Century Rectangles & Saucers Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. You really can’t go wrong with using geometrics for anyone (almost). The wide border also gives this a bold, graphic look.

I used black cardstock with the Mid Century Rectangles & Saucers Stencil and Galaxy Blue Nuvo Glacier Paste from Tonic. After it dried, I die cut the shadow layer of my sentiment, which is from the We All Started Somewhere Stamp & Cut from Hero Arts.

Before adding acetate, I temporarily adhered my panel to my black card base, and stamped my sentiment through the window with VersaMark Ink. Then I heat embossed it with a silver embossing powder. Next, I added the acetate to the window and added black foam tape to the panel. I added Metallic Cool Water Blue Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs and sealed up the shaker.

There is so much shine on this card, but it isn’t overwhelming because of all of the black. I think it turned out really cool. Please visit A Colorful Life Designs to see all of the amazing stencils and Card Bling that this woman-owned business offers. If you decide to shop, you can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10%.
