Hello! It’s time for another card that uses the Summerween Collection from Hero Arts. This time, I’m using the We All Scream Die Set, and I went with a different look for my ghostie. I decided to make a chocolate ghost, because why not?

I started with the ice cream pop, cutting the ghost layer out of brown cardstock to make him chocolate, and then inking the edges a bit with Over Coffee Ink. The ice cream layer I made white, and I used Kraft cardstock for the stick. I used a white Gel Pen to add highlights to the eyes and chocolate.

The background was made using the Dotty Cling Stamp from Hero Arts. I stamped it onto pink Spellbinders cardstock with Cranberry Fizz Ink from Catherine Pooler. The color wasn’t quite right, so I used a wet brush on each of the dots to change the color a bit, since these inks are water-reactive. This was the perfect solution. I added my sentiment, and a few Luminous Damask Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. I kept the card base white.

I like that the ghost is made of chocolate here, but I will try it with a white ghost and a colored ice cream at some point too. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of their latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have a spooktacular day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
