Spectacular Polar Bear

Hello! Today I have a sweet card that uses not only the July 2026 Stencil of the Month from Spellbinders, but also the new Spectacular Bear from the Spectacular Christmas Collection. This collection has interchangeable parts between the characters, but if you want them to have a body, you need to have the bear that I used today.

I started by making the bear. I decided to go with a polar bear, though I plan on doing brown and black bears in the future. I have been loving teal, turquoise and pink together lately, so I went with those colors with touches of gray. I realized too late that I should have tucked the trees under the frames of the glasses, but it’s still really cute.

Using the colors I used with the bear as inspiration, I chose several inks for the Stencil of the Month. I opted to not use the detail stencil, but I used all of the others in the kit. My ink colors are all from Catherine Pooler. I used Buttercream, In the Park, Cummerbund, It’s a Girl. My sentiment, which is from the July 2026 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month from Spellbinders, was inked with Uptown.

This is a fun little collection, and it works beautifully with the July Monthly Club Kits. I’ll be sharing the penguin with a different one soon.
