Greetings! There are a lot of pet-themed stencils in this month’s release from A Colorful Life Designs. Todays card uses the Paw Print Heart Stencil. I decided to make it a sympathy card, though it certainly can be used for a lot of other occasions too.

I wanted to use this stencil on my Gel Press Plate and I wanted a nice rainbow of color. I inked the plate with Royal Satin Kalediacolor Inks from Imagine and placed my stencil on top. I pulled a print of the open areas. Then, I removed the stencil and pulled a second print, which is the one I used for my card here. The area that had the stencil was lighter than the rest. But, it wasn’t quite light enough, so I went over the heart and the pads of the paw with a White Posca Pen to brighten things up.

I chose a sentiment from an old MFT stamp set that I think is very true for any beloved pet. I heat embossed it with white. Then, I added just a few Moonshine Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. It’s a very simple card, but it has a lot feelings attached to it.
