Greetings! One of the new June collections from Hero Arts is called Coney Club. It’s got hot dogs, dachshunds, and some terrific sentiments. I made a card using the Hot Dog Clear Stamp Set and the Cookout Layering Stencil Set. I made this as more of a birthday card, but it can absolutely be used for other occasions as well.

I colored the pup, the sweater, and the balloon with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I fussy cut everything out though there are dies available HERE. I used a black Micron Pen to add the balloon string and “tie” it around the pup’s tail.

For the plaid, I used the new Cookout Layering Stencil Set, which is part of the Coney Club release. I used Limoncello, Party Dress, and the new Boardwalk Inks from Catherine Pooler. Those ink colors work perfectly with the Zig colors I used on the sweater. On my card base, I inked the lower two thirds with more Boardwalk Ink…totally appropriate for this collection, right?! Then I added my sentiments with Nocturne VersaFine Clair. I inked the “hot diggity dog” strip with more Limoncello Ink.

The dachshunds in this stamp set are so cute, and I love that you can dress them up. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
