Hello! My project today uses 2 of the products from the Fresh Flowers Collection from Hero Arts. I made a really pretty cherry blossom themed birthday card that’s nice and flat and easy to mail.

I started by using the Floral Frame Layering Stencil Set. There is the Floral Frame Die Set that is meant to work perfectly with the stencils, but as you can see from my card, you don’t need that to make something pretty. For the flowers and foliage, I used a combination of Catherine Pooler Inks. Clay Mask, Tiara, Getaway, Coral Cabana, Cranberry Fizz, Peppermint Scrub, Eucalyptus, and Sauna are all used here.

Down the center, I repeated the word “Happy” from the Perfect Pairs Stamp Set and ended it with “BDay.” I inked them with Coral Cabana. I thought it filled in the space nicely. Then I did a faux splatter trick that I learned from Carly Tee. Using a black pen to perfectly control where the splatter would be. I love real splatter, but sometimes you just want control, and this is a great way to get that with the effect of real splatter.

I am loving this color combo and this stencil is so pretty. Please visit Hero Arts to see the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
