Hello! I’ve got an effervescent card to share today. That’s probably not an adjective often used to describe cards, right? But it uses the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for May 2026, which is called Pop of Summer, and as soon as you see my card, you’ll understand why that’s the word I chose to describe it.

I die cut my components using mostly Spellbinders cardstock with some metallic foiled cardstock from Recollections. I didn’t do any ink blending, but I did “sugar” up the fruits with an old Distress Stickles. Here’s a close-up.

I love how that bit of Stickles really adds so much to the little fruits. And you can see how great the foiled cardstock looks too.

I wanted to add to the bubbly vibe, so I grabbed some patterned Lawn Fawn paper and added it to my background, which I cut smaller than I usually do. I inked the card base with Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink. My sentiment is from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die from Spellbinders, and I inked it with Samba Ink from Catherine Pooler.

This is such a happy card. I really love all the colors and shine. There’s a parrot that comes with this die set, but I opted to omit it this time. I’ll try to use it on another card soon. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of this month’s Club Kits. Some past Kits are available on their site too. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
