Hello! I have to say, I love how today’s card turned out. It uses the Poppy Song Collection from Spellbinders, and I’m really happy with how it all came together. This is such a pretty collection, with lots of useful products that can be used all the time, such as the Playful Stitched Panels Dies, which you may have seen me use several times already.

I started off with some sheet music I added paint to with Distress Paints. You can see me use another piece of it HERE. I used Saltwater Taffy, Salvaged Patina, and Wild Honey. I adhered it to a piece of white cardstock for stability and then I die cut it with one of the Playful Stitched Panels. I die cut the largest Playful Stitched Panels out of Waterfall Cardstock from Spellbinders and then I ran it through my die cut machine with the Favorite Song 3D Embossing Folder. I inked the edges with Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink.

I die cut the small tag from the Playful Stitched Panels out of Bellini Cardstock and I inked the edges with Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink. I added a bunch of baker’s twine to tie off the tag. Next I used the Leaf and Bloom Dies for my focal point. The foliage is cut from Fern, and the flowers were made with Beeswax and Carrot cardstocks. I popped the tag up with foam tape and then adhered all of my layers to my card base after inking it with Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink.

There’s a lot happening here, but it’s not too busy. I love that there is 2 different references to music, and there’s colors are so pretty together. I didn’t think it needed a sentiment, because it speaks for itself. Please check out all of the latest releases from Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
