Hello! I have a cheerful floral card that uses some of the products in Hero Arts‘ new collection called, You’ve Got a Friend. The Bitty Floral Layering Stencils are the star of the show here, and I used a fun combination of Catherine Pooler Ink colors to really make things pop.

I started with the larger flowers and inked them with Flirty Fuchsia. The smaller flowers were done with Tiki Torch. The centers of the flowers were done with Royal Treatment and Mandarin. For he foliage, the main part of the leaves were inked with Bay Breeze, and the center line was done with Juniper Mist. I trimmed the panel to be 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4.”

I stamped out my sentiment with the new Hello Friend Clear Stamp Set. There are coordinating dies available, but I don’t own them, so I gave my main sentiment a loose fussy cut. I stamped the “hello” with Royal Treatment” and my sub-sentiment with Mandarin. I inked the edge of my sentiment strip with Flirty Fuchsia. I popped them up with 1mm foam tape.

The Bitty Floral Layering Stencil Set is a great opportunity to play with colors. Use combinations you don’t typically reach for and see how you like them. I didn’t know if I’d love this combo, but it turns out that I do, and I’ll need to use it again in the future. Please be sure to visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases.
