Hello! I have amassed a whole lot of gel prints, and I always get so excited when one works for a project. I was creating with the Tote Bag Die Set from Hero Arts’ Tote-Ally Awesome Collection, and I knew I needed something funky behind it. Monoprints to the rescue!

I put the tote together with black, purple, and grey cardstock. I used Hero Arts’ new Background Builder Stamp Set to add some cool “prints” to the cardstock, which I stamped with VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed. I also die cut and embossed my sentiment, which is from the Totes the Best Stamp & Cut.

Again, I already had the background in my stash, so I don’t recall exactly what colors I used, but I can say that I used alcohol inks on my gel plate. I also used the Organic Doodles Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs on it. Because of the stencil, I knew this print would work well with the Background Builder Stamps I chose. I edged my card base with a thin line of Monarch VersaFine Clair Ink.

I had a lot of fun making this tote bag. It would be so cute as a gift card holder. I love that you can customize it by using different colors prints, and papers. Please be sure to visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by Have an inspiring day!
