Hello! This month, the release from A Colorful Life Designs has many geometric stencil designs, and I love them. I’m a big fan of geometric designs, so I was really excited to see them all. For today’s card, I used the Arrows Stencil on my Gel Press. You’ll be seeing a lot of monoprints this month, as these stencils all work really well on the plate.

To make my print, I used my 6×6 Gel Press with acrylic paint. I used a layer of deep pink and then some turquoise and greens on top. There are lots of videos on my YouTube Channel that show how to use make monoprints with gel plates. You can watch a Playlist HERE. I was originally going to use more of the print, but I decided instead to only use a small piece to show that you don’t need to use a lot of a print for it to make a big impact.

To coordinate with the monoprint, I chose a piece of ombre glitter cardstock from Recollections. I added a strip of silver foiled cardstock to separate the two focal papers. I added a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Big Time Kindness Stamps and Coordinating Dies, which I inked with Purple Delight VersaFine Clair Ink. Then I added some Crystal Opaque Jade Isle Card Bling.

The Arrows Stencil is really cool, and I hope to share another card with it soon so you can see more of the design. But for this card, this fat strip was perfect.
