Hello! Hero Arts has a new release called Friends with Flair and I’m sharing a card using some of the products in that collection today. This is such a fun set of products that can be used for any gender, depending on how you “style” everything. I went with a more feminine look today, but I’ll be sure to share something a bit more masculine and non-binary in the future.

I started with the Jean Jacket Die Set, and cut the pieces out of pale pink cardstock from Spellbinders, as well as using a patterned paper from their Just Sayin’ 6×6 Paper Pad. I did some shading on the pink cardstock withPink Pearl Ink from Altenew. I used a foiled metallic silver cardstock for the buttons for some shine. The heart was die cut from two shades of purple cardstock, and is part of this die set. I don’t own the actual Got Flair? Die Set, so I thought that the stars (actually all the tiny shapes!) from the We All Started Somewhere Stamp & Cut would make some really fun “pins” on the shirt/jacket. I used more Spellbinders cardstock for them, and inked the stamps in slightly darker shades (Lime Rickey and Cummerbund Inks from Catherine Pooler) for a tonal look.

I really love those tiny shapes, so I decided to use another for my background. I cut a piece of purple cardstock and then stamped those little bursts all over it with Serene Ink from Catherine Pooler. Then I splatteredBleed Proof White from Dr. Ph Martin’s all over the background. Finally, I stamped my sentiment, which is from the Totally Awesome Stamp Set, from the Friends with Flair Collection, with Uptown Ink. It works perfectly with the deep teal of the patterned paper.

I love how customizable this collection is, and I will definitely be using lots of small stamps and dies to create my “flair!” I’ll have more using this collection soon. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
