Greetings! Today I’ve got a card that is great for a musician. I used the new Music Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs with a Spellbinders die set that I already had put together in my stash. I went for a rainbow spectrum with holographic touches.

I started by ink blending the notes only with the residual ink left on my blending brushes. They really hold a lot of ink! Then, I splattered Tuxedo Black Fireworks! Spray on the panel. I inked the edges with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink, but I only did a thin line of color.

I had already put together the keys from Spellbinders’ Mini Musical Instruments, and I knew it was a good addition to the card. Before I adhered it, I tore two corners of holographic cardstock and added them to my focal layer. Then I adhered the keys. Next, I stamped my sentiment, which is from Honey Bee Stamps’ Sip. Smile. Repeat. Stamp Set. I added the panel to a white card base, and I added another thin line of Nocturne Ink to that.

My daughter is the Stage Manager for her high school’s play, so I think this could be a great card to give to her. It would also work for the pit musicians. Who would you give this card to?
