Hello! Today I am featuring another of the Block Print Zodiacs Press & Foil Plates from Spellbinders, and this time it’s Gemini, which is my mom’s zodiac sign. I just love the style of this collection, it reminds of the Disney movie Hercules, which is a favorite of mine.

For the focal panel, I used my Aura Violet Watercolor from Kuretake’s Granulating Watercolor Set. Then I used Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink with the BetterPress Plates. I trimmed the panel down to fit the design nicely and I added a thin edge of Twilight Ink around all 4 sides.

Next, I embossed a piece of navy colored cardstock with the Wishing & Falling Stars Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. I splattered it with Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Frosted. Then I inked the edges of my card base with Wilted Violet Distress Ink, which matched my watercolored panel beautifully. Last, I popped up my focal layer with 1″ Black Foam Tape from Scrapbook.com.

You don’t need to do a lot with these Block Print Zodiacs to make some really unique birthday cards. I can’t wait to start giving them out! Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
