Hello! Today’s card uses some Diecut Cardstock Ephemera from the Breakfast in Bed Collection from Rosie’s Studio and Spellbinders. I also made a fun background with one of my all-time favorite stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

On a piece of white cardstock, I painted my background with Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint with a baby wipe. After it dried, I used the Messy Harlequin Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs with glossy white embossing paste. I didn’t cover the entire panel, just areas here and there. After it dried, I used an Edge Distressing Tool from Uniquely Creative to tear and curl up the edges a bit.

I tore a striped paper from the Breakfast in Bed 6×6 Designer Paper Pad and heat embossed some white embossing powder along the 2 outside edges for more shine and texture. I kept it messy on purpose. Then I started to add my Diecut Cardstock Ephemera. I found 3 pieces that worked well with what I had already done on the card, and I glued them down. I love that golden foliage branch! My sentiment is from the Poet’s Garden Press & Foil Sentiment Set, and I inked it with Green Oasis VersaFine Clair Ink. I inked my card base with Minted Ink from Catherine Pooler, then I popped up my panel with 1″ Foam Tape from Scrapbook.com.

I love all of the textures and colors on this card. There’s a lot to look at, but it’s not too busy. I hope you like it too! Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of their latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
