Hello! Today’s card is a perfect example of how combining products from different companies can look like they’re actually meant to be used together. I used the Star Dots Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs with the Essential Stars Dies from Spellbinders.

I took a pink paper from Lawn Fawn’s Watercolor Wishes pad and inked up the Star Dots with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink. I used the same paper pad to die cut my stars. I cut two of the large yellow stars, and a few small green ones. The large stars fit perfectly in the stenciled ones! Then I die cut a bunch of the same stars out of white cardstock, so that I could stack them to make dimensional elements.

I inked up my card base with Melon Ice Ink from Catherine Pooler because it worked really well with the small green stars, and I wanted that color to stand out more. Then I used some sentiments from the same Spellbinders collection as the die cut stars. It’s called All About Christmas. I used sentiments from both the Merry Sentiments Clear Stamps & Dies as well as the Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamps & Dies. They were the perfect finishing touch to this card.

I was so happy to see that the stencil worked so perfectly with the dies. And I really like this funky, bright palette for a Christmas card.
