Hello! I have a sweet card to share with you that uses a funky new BetterPress Plate and the Fountain Wishes Die Set, which are both from Spellbinders. When I put together this die set, I immediately wanted to make a real sundae for myself!

I used several cardstock colors from Spellbinders, as well as a few random ones I had in my stash. This is pretty easy to put together, and I love that there are several different “accessories” so you can customize your fountain drink. I added a few highlights with my white gel pen to create some faux shine.

I used another shade of pink cardstock from Spellbinders with the Grungy Background Press Plate and Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink. It looked great, but I wanted to soften the look around the edges, so I inked them with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. This made the background almost appear frosty. I chose a sentiment from Hero Arts’ Apple Branch Stamp & Cut set, and I inked it with Pinecone Ink as well. Instead of having a border around the entire edge of the focal layer, I only had the card base showing on two sides.

What a fun card to send to a friend! I think that drink looks scrumptious! Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
