Hello! In an effort to squeeze in some more Halloween projects, I’m sharing two cards today that both use the same Cuckoo Cottage Die Set from Spellbinders, but one uses the Halloween Tick Tock add-ons for the clock. Let’s start with that card.

I used a purple, gray, and black color scheme for this cuckoo clock. I have to say, there are so many fun elements you can add, it was hard to narrow it down! Plus, many of these dies can be used without the clock, to just make a fun Halloween card. The cats, for example, which I didn’t even get to use here.

I had some cardstock that looked inky and splattered, which I used as my background. Then, I cut some green cardstock and added some splatter to that. This is a 5×7 card, by the way. My sentiment is from Hero Arts’ Spooky Season BetterPress & Die Set.

My other card uses just the base set of the Cuckoo Cottage, which honestly is great on it’s own. Besides the Halloween Tick Tock set, there’s also the Harvest Time and Chiming Christmas add-on sets as well. This version was made on a standard A2 sized card base, so you can see that the clock works with either, it just depends on how long you make the chains.

I didn’t do anything fancy for this card besides put the set together. It’s so cute on it’s own, you don’t need to go crazy. I used a woodgrain paper from Spellbinders’ Autumn Archives 12×12 Printed Paper, and it was so perfect with the clock. I used tiny brads on both of my cards so that the clock hands would actually be able to move. Also, the pendulums swing, thanks so some foam dots and the way the die was designed.

I love how much fun it is to put these cuckoo clocks together, and design where the accessories will go. If you’d like to see the full collection, please visit Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
