Hello! The Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection from Spellbinders has gotten bigger! There are now a couple of die sets that are perfect for the holidays, and my card today features the Classic Mouse Holiday Wreath. I decided to not use those famous mice on my card, but I did use the previously released Say Cheese Classic Mouse Alphabet.

I cut the wreath from two shades of green and added a string of lights. There are several ways to decorate the wreath, but I always love the look of lights. I also added the bow, which I also die cut more than once to add the look of dimension. I hand colored the top layer with Copics. I also die cut my “merry” from red and green cardstock and added some white highlights with a gel pen.

I decided to make this a 5×7 card because my sentiment just wasn’t fitting well with the wreath. It was all too squished. I needed an cool background, so I decided to use the May ’25 Embossing Folder (called Abstract Study) of the Month from Spellbinders. I used a light coral colored cardstock from Spellbinders, and then after I embossed the panel, I inked it with Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink. I inked my card base with the thinnest line of Rain Forest VersaFine Clair Ink, then I adhered all of my layers to it.

I don’t make 5×7 cards very often, but it’s nice to have that large amount of space sometimes. I think this wreath is so cute, and I can’t wait to share projects using it with the rest of the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection. Please visit Spellbinders to see the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
