Hello! There are so many fantastic colors of Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs (over 130!), that looking at them all just made me in the mood to make a shaker card. So I broke out one of the newest stencils, called Fish Scales, and got to playing.

I ink blended It’s a Girl, Serene, Cummerbund, and Minted Ink from Catherine Pooler through the stencil. These colors are soft and pretty, and helped me to choose what colors of Card Bling I’d use for the shaker. I also used Serene on my card base.

I die cut a circle from my stenciled panel and looked through my stash for a critter I could use. I found this kitty that’s from The Gray Muse (who doesn’t make stamps anymore) that I had colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens ages ago. I backed my window with teal cardstock, after I stamped my Concord & 9th Checking In sentiment with Uptown Ink.
I probably should have not used so much Card Bling, because it’s hard to see the whole sentiment at once, but I got a bit over zealous. I used 4 colors of Card Bling, but I completely forgot to write down the colors. They all worked really well with my chosen ink colors.

I love when I get to use an element I made a while ago, like this kitty. I am happy with how everything came together, and this was a pretty quick shaker to create.
