Hello! Today is the day the newest Spellbinders collection, called Say Cheese Classic Mouse is released. While, you won’t find any mice on this project, you’ll be seeing some soon that feature those famous mice that so many of us love. I’m using the Frame & Sentiments Die Set and the Flags & Banners Die Set.

I started by choosing some bright, cheery colors of cardstock and began to cut out a bunch of the rosette banners. It’s really easy to layer them up and make lots of them fast. These would be a good thing to pre-make for batching later. Then I cut out a few stars, the circles for grounding everything, and the banners.

I added some ink to the banners and small circle with Cummerbund Ink from Catherine Pooler, and Fresh Lemon from Altenew to deepen the yellow on the large circle. I also added Cummerbund to the card base. The trickiest part of the whole thing was the layout. Making sure your eye moves around the card, that it felt balanced, and that I had lots of different dimensions. I used 1mm and 3mm foam strips from Scrapbook.com for this.

I seriously love this card. It’s so happy and with different colors, can be used for so many joyous occasions. Imagine it with all metallic papers for an anniversary…wouldn’t that be stunning? I may need to make it! Please check out the entire Say Cheese Classic Mouse Collection from Spellbinders. It’s fantastic, and I can’t wait to show you more creations with it. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
