Greetings! I have a sweet pair of feathered friends to share today. This is the Pretty Birds Die Set from Spellbinders, and they are just so precious. You can make them in so many different colors, but I decided to go with a simple green and turquoise today.

I used some My Colors Cardstock to die cut them out. On the turquoise bird, I inked it a bit with Cummerbund Ink and on the green I used Lime Rickey, both from Catherine Pooler. I used a touch of Rockin’ Red on the heart. I found an old plaid paper that worked really well with the birds and heart for my background.

My sentiment is from the Holding Your Heart Sentiments Better Press Plate and Die Set. There are so many unique and useful sentiments in that set. I used Twilight VersaFine Clair for the words, and then I inked the strip with It’s a Girl Ink. I also used that for the edge of my card base.

The next time I use this die set, I may die cut the birds from white cardstock and color them completely with markers. But I love that you have lots of options with them. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
