Hello! I’ve mentioned before that I love old cars. I especially love when they have flames. My own car is a PT Cruiser, which looks like an old car, and I had flames painted on it shortly after I bought it in 2001. So of course, when I first saw the Muscle Car from Spellbinders, it basically begged me for flames. It just so happened that A Colorful Life Designs just came out with the Fire Edger, and it was the PERFECT way to easily add flames to the car.

I die cut the muscle car using colored cardstock and before I assembled it, I added my ink. I used Maple Yellow from Altenew to add some shading to the car, then I used Rockin’ Red and Tiki Torch from Catherine Pooler for the flames. It was easier to put it all together after the inking was done.

For behind the car, I used the Speedometer Die Set, which is part of the Classic Road Legends Collection. I used some copper cardstock for shine. I backed these elements with some gray chevron paper from DCWV. I inked my white card base with Tiki Torch Ink.

I am so thrilled that the flames were the perfect style and size for the Muscle Car. I seriously love how it turned out, and I am absolutely going to make more cars with flames in the future.
