Greetings! Today I’m using the My Life in Pictures Dies from Spellbinders on a card that has a vintage vibe. I went with browns and muted pinks, purples, and cream for it and I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

I die cut the film strip from brown cardstock, as well as the top layer of the sentiment. Again, I wanted a vintage vibe, so found some really old printed vellum (it’s practically vintage!) and adhered those pieces to cream cardstock so they would be at the same level of the filmstrip. I die cut my hearts from Kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I stamped the script from Tim Holtz’s Entomology Stamp Set directly on my cream colored card base with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Then I splattered Walnut Stain Distress Ink all over it. After it dried, I inked the edges with more Vintage Photo. I did the same with my bottom sentiment layer.

This came out really pretty, and I’m so glad I got to use some of that printed vellum I’ve had for so long. I really like the filmstrip in this die set. There are so many things you can do with it. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see more. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
