Hello! I have a bold and bright card to share that uses the Scalloped Harlequin stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I love a good harlequin pattern and this one is really unique. I also got to play with some Distress Oxide Sprays, which I don’t do too often.

I started by spraying a white cardstock panel with Mustard Seed and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Sprays. I didn’t need to do much for it to look good, and of course I flipped the stencil on to another piece of cardstock to get that excess ink on to it. No reason to waste it!

Next I die cut the Blossom Die from Tim Holtz & Sizzix. I used colored cardstock, but I also added some extra color. I used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain, Wild Honey Distress Oxide Spray, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. I also inked the edge of my card base with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. My sentiment is from the Checking In Stamps and Dies from Concorde & 9th, and was stamped with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair.

These colors make me happy, and I love how bold the card is. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils.
