Hello! One of the things I love about dogs is the love they can give to their humans. If I’m feeling down, I can get some tail wags and kisses from my pups and it always makes me feel better. The Large Die of the month for March ’25 from Spellbinders is such a fun mix of dies, but today’s card focuses on the frames and the dog. Be on the lookout for other cards I made using this unique set.

First, I cut die cut the puppy with 2 shades of brown cardstock. The bone and tongue were cut from white. I used Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to add some shading to the dog, inked the bone with Antique Linen and used Copic Markers for the tongue, nose, and eyes.

I grabbed some fun patterned paper from Echo Park’s I Love My Puppy paper pad. I also used some red for the base of the frame. I used Gathered Twigs again for my card base, applied with a blending brush. My sentiment is from the Say Cheese: Classic Pooh BetterPress Bundle, and was inked with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink.

This is one of those quick cards that you can make a bunch of, and use some of your paper stash. I can imagine them as a wonderful invitation to a child’s birthday party, or perhaps even thank you cards after the fact. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to get all of the info on Club Kits. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
