Hello! Today’s card features the Regal Doily stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. This is a really elegant stencil, and I decided to use it with lots of metallics, including a Gel Press print. It’s easy to go super boho with this type of stencil, but I wanted to go more elegant.

I found a Gel Press monoprint that was made with black and gold acrylic paint. It had a little bit of white space too, so it added to the bit of grungy elegance I was hoping to achieve. I laid the stencil on top and used a silver embossing paste through it. It really stood out and looked fabulous! After it dried, I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4.”

I added a sentiment from The Greetery’s Birthday Blooms, which I stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. To add some more pizazz, I heat embossed the edges of my card base with Aged Gold embossing powder from Stampendous. This is a mix of gold, black, and other powders in one jar that gives some really cool effects. You can make this yourself, since this one is no longer available. I purposely left some of the white card base showing to add to the grunge.

Do you like grungy elegance like me? It’s a fun style to work with. I really love mixing different metallics together.
