Layered Freckled Clover

Hello! If you watched my unboxing video for the February release from A Colorful Life Designs, you heard me mention that I wanted to double foil the Layered Freckled Clover stencil set. I was really excited to make this card, and I think it came out great!

I cut down a piece of black cardstock and applied Transfer Gel Blanco from Therm O Web through the first stencil. After it dried, I laid a piece of Spring Green Deco Foil on top and ran it through my laminator. Then I applied more of the Transfer Gel through the second stencil, right on top of the first layer. After it dried, I used Jade Deco Foil.

I grabbed one of my favorite sets from Hero Arts, called Luna the Halloween Cat. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued. I chose my sentiment from that set, stamped it onto green cardstock, and heat embossed it with black. I fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. Then, I added some Hologram Green Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs around the sentiment. I made a black card base and inked it with Emerald Green Delicata Ink from Imagine. Then I adhered my focal layer to the base.

Have you done any double foiling? I haven’t done it lately, but the results are amazing. I just wish it was a little easier to photograph!
