Good Times Scrapbook Page

Greetings! It’s been some time since I’ve had a scrapbook page to share, but the new Just Sayin’ Collection from Kelly Bangs and Spellbinders was too inspiring to not make a layout or two with it. I found an old photo of my kids from a vacation, and the colors they were wearing were perfect.

I took a lot of time to arrange pieces, move them this way and that, until I liked where I had them. A lot of putting this layout together was just playing around. One technique I can share though, is that for the clear stamps I used on the base layer (from the Just Sayin’ Speech Bubble Sentiment Stamps), I did not use a block or stamp platform. I held the stamp in my fingers and rolled it up. I believe it’s called the Taco Technique. This ensured I didn’t have harsh lines, and it kept things looking more organic.
