Greetings! I have another card featuring 3 of the January Club Kits from Spellbinders. You may recall THIS project I shared earlier this month. I really love the Embossing Folder and Small Die Set of the Month, so I wanted to use them together again. Which version do you prefer?

First, I cut out and put my dragonfly together. I am a purple girl through and through, so I was excited to make a purple-winged dragonfly. The pieces go together easily and only the top layer of the wings is super fiddly.
I used another purple cardstock with the embossing folder. I used the back side of the embossed cardstock and inked it up with Very Peri VersaFine Clair Ink so now only the recessed areas show the original colors of the cardstock. This technique works so well with this folder. My sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die Kit of the Month. I inked the edges of my card base with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink, but there was a bit of residual Wilted Violet on my brush too.
Even though I used the same die set and embossing folder as I did on my other project, because I flipped the embossed cardstock over, changed the wings, and used different colors, we have a completely different vibe to this card. I love using all these shades of purple. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to learn more about the Club Kits, and to see the latest products. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
