Greetings! I don’t do slimline cards too often, but I actually made 2 (so far) this month! The one I am sharing today uses the Kaleidoscope Noble Suits Die Set from the Jack of All Trades Collection from Spellbinders and Jaycee Gaspar. The layers in these dies are so beautiful. You can get such stunning effects.

I wanted to keep my first card using this die set traditional. Meaning, using red and black with the appropriate suits. You’ll see another card this month that is done with completely different colors, and it came out so cool. For the red suits, I used a layer of copper metallic paper, a layer of pink, and a layer of red on top. I also die cut the bottom layer out of craft foam to pop them up. The other two suits were done with a layer of shimmery silver cardstock, dark gray, and black. Make sure you use a fine tip glue if you’re working with liquid adhesive. I used Bearly Arts Glue.

There is lots of texture in these die cuts, but I wanted even more, so I embossed some white cardstock with Spellbinders‘ Argyle Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I kept it plain white to not take away from the Kaleidoscope Noble Suits. On top of the clover, I added a sentiment, cut from the same copper cardstock I used for the red suits, from Spellbinders’ Handwritten Sentiments. I opted to not use the shadow layer. I kept my card base white this time.

I love how this turned out. I don’t play traditional card games (I’m always up for some Here to Slay though!) but I would be happy to receive this card. I think it would be great for a good luck card. As I mentioned, you’ll see me use this die set again soon. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the new releases (they’re fabulous!). Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
