Hello! Today’s card features the Love on the Rocks die set from Spellbinders, and while it’s got sort of a Valentine’s Day or love theme happening, you can absolutely use it for other occasions too, depending on the accessories and colors you use. I also used a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, which paired nicely with this fun die set.

I die cut the art deco-styled glass out of a shiny copper cardstock. Although it was kind of on the nose, I did go with a pink color scheme, but it really works so well with the copper. I used an assortment of pinkish papers and cardstocks for the rest of my details, and my ice cubes were cut from vellum. I also cut a piece of Basic Gray paper in a semicircle to create my “table.”
My background was made with the Rocky Path stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I thought it went well with the glass. I inked it with some Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink, keeping it darker behind the center of the glass and slowly fading the color outward. My sentiment is from the Bestie Sentiments Press Plates and Dies from Spellbinders, and I inked it up with Chianti VersaFine Clair Ink.
I like the simple layout of this card and I really love how nicely the stencil went with the glass. It’ll be fun to make a more dramatic card with this set, perhaps with black and gold. I like how lighthearted this one is though.
