Hello! I have a really pretty Christmas card to share with you today that uses a new die set from Spellbinders and Stampendous. It’s called Peace Dove, and there are many dies in it, for lots of beautiful options. This is a great card for mass production and for using up some patterned paper.

I first die cut a piece of green patterned paper from Echo Park’s Christmas Magic Paper Pad with the “tree” die. I thought the subtle swirls on the paper would look really pretty with the various leaves that come in the set. I die cut them a few times each out of gold and adhered them all over the tree. I keep whatever extras I have with the die set. I cut the “Peace” and one of the larger doves out of white cardstock. I wanted to give the word a shadow layer, so I adhered it to a piece of vellum, and cut around it when it was dry. This helps it to show more against the background.
I found another piece of Echo Park patterned paper (from the Perfect Christmas Paper Pad) for my background. I love how the white flowers work so well with the peace and the dove. I decided to pop the tree up using 3mm Foam Tape from Scrapbook.com. This really makes it stand out against the background. I opted to leave my card base white, to coordinate with the flowers, dove, and sentiment.
I think this is so elegant. This is such a pretty die set, and it’s really easy to work with. I think may of you will really enjoy using it. Please visit the Spellbinders site to see all of the latest products. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
