Hello! I have a new scrapbook page to share that uses to of the die sets from Spellbinders‘ Storytelling Scrapbook Collection. You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to use these dies, but they really are fantastic for layouts! I decided to use a photo of my family and I from a few years ago when we were on vacation.

The stained glass sign behind us was the inspiration for all of my papers on this page. I started with a cobalt blue mat around my photo, then I chose ,y background paper which was from the Indian Summer Stack from DCWV. From there. I started to choose my colors for my die cuts. I knew going into making this page that I wanted to use the Family dies and the Say Cheese (camera) dies.
As I pulled more papers, I switched papers for my die cuts. Whatever extra pieces I have, I just keep with the die set for use at a later date. The shadow layer for “family,” for example, was originally orange, but it got lost on my monoprinted paper, so I switched it to the same blue as my photo’s mat. I used only scraps, which I have a ton of.
This page isn’t about anything more than just the 4 of us being together. I was able to mix patterns, which is something I love to do, and of course, those dies work for so many layouts. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of their wonderful dies and other products. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
