Hello! I am having so much fun using Lindy’s Magicals this month. I’m not doing anything complicated, but it’s relaxing, gives amazing results, and doesn’t require a whole lot of energy, so it’s something I can do on high pain day, without worrying I may injure myself. You can see my whole process in THIS video. Today’s card uses the Jigsaw stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I love this funky pattern!

I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray from Therm O Web first, then temporarily adhered it to some Smooth Bristol Cardstock from Strathmore. Then, I sprinkled on Tibetan Poppy Teal and Freaky Franken-Lime Magicals with a fan brush. Don’t overdo the powder. A little goes a long way. Then I spritzed the panel with water and used a round brush to move the color around and fill in any colorless areas. I set the panel aside to dry while keeping the stencil attached. How amazing is that shine? I can’t get enough of it! And I love that it doesn’t rub off. I needed a sentiment, but I didn’t want to cover too much of that shimmery background. I die cut the “oh happy day” from the Honey Bee Stamps Big Time Kindness Stamps and the coordinating Die Set out of green paper from the Scrapbook.com Sprinkles Paper Pad. It was inked with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink. It got a little lost on top of the background, so I die cut it again out of white and offset it. That still wasn’t enough, so I die cut a simple circle out of vellum, which grounded the sentiment wile allowing the background to still show. It was just what I needed. I decided to (gasp!) leave my card base white.
I love that I can make a fun card like this without using too many spoons. It’s pretty fast to make panels like this, and the results are always beautiful.
