Hello! I have a fun card that uses a really cool new embossing folder from Stacey Park’s new holiday collection for Sizzix. But you’ll see that and many of the other products can really be used all year round. The embossing folder is called Shine Bright, and there’s even an optional coordinating stencil that you can purchase to use with it.

I began with a piece of Smooth Bristol Cardstock from Strathmore, which I applied Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed. I used Mini Ink Blending Tools to make sure I had a nice, smooth blend. After that, I used the Shine Bright Embossing Folder with the panel. It came out fantastic but I wanted the dots to stand out a bit more. There’s a Shine Bright Stencil that goes with the folder to allow you to colorize all of the dots. To do this, I used Golden Glitz Delicata Ink from Imagine.
Since this folder and stencil reminded me of sunshine, I wanted to use the Fun in the Sun die set from Scrapbook.com. I die cut the top layer with a yellow paper from the Sprinkles Paper Pad and the shadow layer with a mirror gold from the Holographic Mirror Paper Pad, both from Scrapbook.com. On my white card base, I inked the edges with more Golden Glitz Delicata Ink.
I love the texture of this card and the touches of gold. The Shine Bright embossing folder is really cool, and I already have ideas of different ways that I can use it. Please be sure to visit Scrapbook.com to see the entire new collection from Stacey Park and Sizzix. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
