Hello! Recently, Spellbinders released a new collection for Stampendous called Beautiful Backgrounds. You may have seen THIS card that used the Streamers stamp. It was really colorful! But I decided to go in a different direction with the Streamers stamp today.

I pulled out some Black Mixed Media Paper from Scrapbook.com. I stamped the Streamers horizontally with VersaMark Ink so that I could then emboss it with the beautiful Hologram Embossing Powder from Imagine. It’s really hard to capture it in photos, but it’s an opaque silver powder with lots of holographic glitter in it. I liked the effect so much, I also used it on the perimeter of my card base.
For my sentiment, I went with 2 of the 3 word and shadow dies from the Happy Birthday Wishes die set from Spellbinders. I used black cardstock for the letters, and a piece of Scrapbook.com’s Holographic Mirror Cardstock. It looks so great with the embossing powder! I popped the background panel up with black craft foam.
I really wish you could see how vibrant the colors are in the holographic paper and the embossing powder. It’s really beautiful in person. But, you’ll have to take my word for it. You should check out the rest of the Beautiful Backgrounds from Spellbinders, as well as the Out & About collection, which includes these word dies. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
