Hello! I’ve got a monoprinted card that uses the Dotted Lines stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. It’s grungy and has a funky color combo that I’m loving. I’d love to know what you think.

I recently purchased a bunch of Blick’s Studio Acrylics and I love them. They’re of course great to paint with, but I love using them on my Gel Press Plates too. I grabbed Brilliant Yellow Green, Cadmium Orange Hue, and Metallic Teal and pulled a few prints with the stencil. The teal kind of took over and ended abruptly, so I had to figure out a way to chill that out.
I grabbed some vellum and the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bold Sayings stamp set. I inked my chosen sentiment with VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed it with an old celery color from Stampendous. I tore the edges of the vellum and the right side of the monoprint. I inked the edges of my white card base with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and then adhered some Metallic Bronze Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.
It’s grungy, and I thought about adding more layers, but I didn’t want it to become too busy. I like it. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the many, many stencils they have to offer. You can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10% off of your regular-priced purchase.
