Hello! Today’s card uses the Chunky Chevron stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, plus a few other fun tools, like a Gel Press plate. I had a really great time making this card, so let me tell you what I did.

I used a roll-off print that was made by rolling the excess Blick Studio Acrylic Paint that was on my brayer onto a piece of paper. I get lots of these roll-off prints while I’m working with my Gel Press and they’re great starting points for future prints. I rolled some Ultramarine Blue onto my plate and plced the Chunky Chevrons on top. I pulled a print on a different piece of paper, and found there as so much left on the plate, I could pull a second print, which is where this roll-off comes into play. After I removed the stencil from the plate, there was still more paint (from under the stencil), so I pulled a third print, which is where the white and blue pieces came from.
So now I had 3 panels with the stenciled design. I decided to not use the first one (yet). I grabbed the Waves Cover Plate die from Erin Lee Creative (it’s not currently on the site) and die cut both panels. Then I just adhered the pieces to a fresh piece of cardstock, using one roll-off, then one white, and so on. Then I inked the edges with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. On top of that, I die cut the CZ Design and Simon Says Stamp Betting on You die set (no longer available) and cut the pieces out of navy cardstock and an old patterned paper. I added some Card Bling as well.
Now, I can either make another card just like this one, with the leftover pieces, or perhaps I’ll change up the sentiment. Either way, I love getting a two-fer!
