Hello! I have a new card featuring the Sizzix and 49 & Market collaboration. Plus, I got to play with some beautiful white-core papers from Scrapbook.com. The Painted Pencil Botanical is the focal set I used today, but a couple of other sets were used from this collection too.

I stamped the outline image of the Painted Pencil Botanical with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink on to Scrapbook.com’s Mixed Media Paper. Then, I used the additional layering stamps with other VersaFine Clair Inks in Cheerful, Shady Lane, and Verdant. I love that the layering stamps are imperfect looking and leave some white space. I used the accompanying die to cut out the image.

I then grabbed the Vacation Paper Pad from Scrapbook.com and chose some papers that coordinated with my floral. I also took a look at the Sprinkles Paper Pad and used 1 color from there. I tore the top of each of my chosen papers to create my background, and I glued them to a piece of white cardstock. Next, I stamped the moth from the Engraved Wings set and colored them with the Tahitian Terrace Dual Tip Pens from Altenew. I also stamped “hello” from the Hello You Sentiments and colored it in with the Glitter Brush Marker in Green Christmas Ivy. I inked the edges of my card base with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

This card came together so quickly. The layering stamps are really easy to line up, and creating that cool torn paper background is a breeze. Wouldn’t it be fun to create a series of these in different color ways to give as a gift to someone? Be sure to visit Scrapbook.com to check out all of the fun products I used on today’s card. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
